There are many selling scenarios where an invoice is the right thing to do. If someone is trying to sell goods or services but the payment is due to yet another day that the delivery that an invoice is a must have. Why? Because the payment then has a legal deadline for the buyer to honor it and the transaction is safer for everyone. This Invoice example is just one of many that I can write about. An invoice is the legal thing to do.
